The Alaska Aerospace Development InitiativeThe Alaska Aerospace Development Corporation (AADC) is a public corporation that strives to develop aerospace-related economic, technical and educational opportunities for the state of Alaska. AADC has proven itself a leader in education, and through a partnership with Space Explorers, Inc., AADC is helping bring innovative Space Explorers programming into classrooms across Alaska. These grants allow students to participate in the Universal, K-3 Space® and Orbital Laboratory® programs. All schools in Alaska are qualified to receive these grants, which will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. By participating in this grant, AADC and Space Explorers hope to sustain students’ interest in technology and generate excitement about the aerospace industry.
