The New Jersey Space Grant Consortium
The New Jersey Space Grant Consortium (NJSGC) was established to advance aerospace education, research and development in New Jersey. The NJSGC partnered with Space Explorers, Inc. to expose children, especially minority and disadvantaged children, to the stimulus and thrill of space early in their education. Students have access to the Universal, K-3 Space® and Orbital Laboratory® programs through this matching fund sponsorship.
One goal of the NJSGC is to improve mathematics, science, technology and engineering education at all levels, kindergarten through graduate school. In fulfillment of its mission, NJSGC strives to support programs such as those provided by Space Explorers for K-12 students, with special focus on minorities and the underserved.
