The Virginia Space Grant Consortium
The Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC) encourages an interdisciplinary approach to fields relating to aerospace/aeronautics. Through Space Explorers’ innovative programs, students explore the fields of mathematics, science, reading, and technology. The VSGC is providing matching grants so Virginia schools may use the technology of the Internet and bring the excitement of Universal, K-3 Space®, Orbital Laboratory® programs into today’s classrooms.
The VSGC is a coalition of Virginia colleges and universities, NASA, state educational agencies, Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology, and other institutions representing diverse aerospace education and research. The VSGC coordinates and develops aerospace-related and high technology educational and research efforts throughout Virginia and connects Virginia's effort to a national community of shared aerospace interests.
