  • Stars are Born: Video Contest

As schools are getting back into session for the year, Space Explorers would like to give classrooms another opportunity to take part in our Stars Are Born Video Contest. Make a creative video featuring your class using Space Explorers simulations, experiments, or lessons, as well commenting about the programs.

    Mission:
Here's your classroom's chance to shine! Create a video showing your class using the Orbital Laboratory® plant growth experiment and/or the Mars Explorer, Moonlink®, Marslink®, or NEARlink® simulations. The top entries may be featured in a video produced by Space Explorers.

    stars Questions to Consider:
    1. Why do you enjoy learning about space?
    2. How have Space Explorers' programs helped you learn?
    3. What is your favorite part about the programs?

    Requirements:
Submitted videos may be no longer than 15 minutes. MiniDV format is preferred, but any format will be considered. Entries must be postmarked by Friday, Dec. 3, 2004. Include the students' names, teacher's name, school name, school address, school phone, and teacher's e-mail address. Please make sure to enclose a signed copy of the teacher release form and a promotional release form (parent/legal guardian release) for each student appearing in your classroom's video.
